Kate Spire, Office Manager

Hello! I was born and raised in Brookline, Massachusetts, within walking distance of Fenway Park…GO SOX! My childhood was spent advocating for animal rights, working to save our ancient American Chestnut Trees (Planted beginning in 1655) from being decimated by the blight and riding horses.  My Grandfather, Dr. Richard A. Cole, was an amateur player at Bass Rocks Golf Club and won more Trophies than he had room to display. He raised me to look forward to Sunday Golf on TV and our evening promenades using putters as our walking sticks to meet up with his golf cronies to tell lies.

I have spent my entire career working with non-profit agencies from 4-H Extension to Church to the Human Services Campus in downtown Phoenix that guides adults out of homelessness. How wonderful it is that with First Tee-Phoenix, I have been able to combine my childhood memories of Golf with my passion for teaching youth and working with people at risk, helping them find their way to a productive and dignified life.
