Building Character, Achieving More
First Tee – Phoenix is a youth development organization that empowers young people to build the strength of character they need to face life’s challenges through the game of golf.
We recognize that golf has often felt out of reach for many, particularly within Latino communities, due to factors like cultural disconnects, financial barriers, and limited exposure.
The Inspira initiative was created specifically to bridge these gaps, offering a welcoming, culturally relevant space where Latino youth and their families feel supported and encouraged to thrive.
Our Programs
By participating in our programs, youth are building the character and skills necessary for lifelong achievement through the game of golf.
Your child will learn the game of golf while also:
- Developing character-based skills such as leadership and resilience.
- Gaining confidence through mentorship and coaching.
- Connect with other young leaders in a supportive and inclusive environment.
Supportive Space for Growth
First Tee – Phoenix creates a safe, inclusive environment where youth feel excited to grow, supported when they face challenges, and better equipped for whatever comes next.

For Over 20 Years…
First Tee – Phoenix has combined golf with character-building programs that help shape youth into future leaders. Our Life Skills Curriculum, backed by experts in youth development, ensures participants gain confidence and develop essential life and leadership skills that empower them in all areas of life including school, friendships, and eventually, their careers.
