Hello! My name is Alex Platt. I was born and raised in Plano, Texas, and graduated from the University of Texas with a degree in Sports Management and a minor in Business.

I’ve been a sports fan my entire life, but my path with First Tee actually started during my senior year of college as an Events Intern. I saw firsthand the incredible impact these programs have on young people and knew I wanted to be a part of it. After graduation, I moved into a full-time role as the Programs Manager for First Tee — Greater Austin before finding my new home here in Phoenix.

As someone who is currently learning the game of golf myself, I’ve realized it really is the ultimate classroom for teaching life’s biggest lessons. I’m incredibly passionate about youth development and feel lucky that I get to spend my days supporting the amazing volunteers who help our participants grow on and off the course!
