My name is Erin McDonough. I have spent my career in non-profits and my personal life connected to sports. With the goal of combining these two areas, I received a masters’ degree in sports administration. Most recently, I worked as the executive director of a university foundation in Oregon. During my career I have worked for charities of all sizes and in university athletic departments.
I have deep roots to Phoenix and Arizona. A fun fact about me, I am the 5th generation on my mother’s side to live in Arizona; my mom grew up here and is a Sun Devil. I got my love of golf from my dad. Both of whom are still in New England, where I grew up and went to college. Go Sox! I have a significant other, Lonny; his mom, sister and brother-in-law live in Scottsdale. I won’t bore you with the complete list of family on both sides that are close by, it is something we are incredibly grateful for. We are excited for our adult kids: Brock, McKenzie, and son-in-law Steven to visit often.
I am incredibly proud to be a member of the First Tee – Phoenix family, working alongside a great team of staff, volunteers, donors, and board members to change the lives of the youth of Maricopa County.
