What Happened During First Tee Week
Monday, May 19th: Senior Night Celebration
We celebrated the 12 amazing graduating seniors in our program! Stay tuned—we’ll be showing off more moments from this unforgettable celebration soon. For now, check out this inspiring video our seniors created for Dear Coach—a special tribute you won’t want to miss.
Tuesday, May 20th: Thank You Tuesday
Our trusted, trained, and caring coaches, volunteers and staff build meaningful relationships that prepare participants for what’s next—on the course, in school, and in life. Our staff and board members extend heartfelt thanks to our incredible volunteers and generous donors—your dedication and support make everything we do possible.
Wednesday, May 21st: Inspira Stakeholder Launch
We have a strategic goal for our participants, volunteers, staff, and leadership reflect our local youth population. We are making progress—but we know there’s more work to do. Today, we launched Inspira: Empowering Character Through Golf, an outreach campaign designed to help us grow in the Latino community. We have so much more to share about this initiative, but for now, we invite you to check out this video for a glimpse into the impact First Tee-Phoenix is making.
Thursday, May 22nd: Golf Gear Drive
We’re launching Golf Gear For Good (TM)! Donated golf clubs and gear ensure more kids have the opportunity to learn and love the game of golf. Do you have clubs in your garage that you haven’t touched? How about that driver that just wasn’t right? First Tee-Phoenix welcomes your donation of new and “Good-As New” golf equipment. You can drop it off at our Wier office at 3837 E Wier Ave., Suite 7, at any of our 16 programming facilities or at any Valley wide PGA TOUR Superstore.
